Feasibility Studies

Wish to bring the PortXL accelerator model to your own port ecosystem? Let us conduct a feasibility study to see what the potential for your area is. Through interviews, questionnaires and workshops, we look into the alignment and support of the ecosystem essential to the success of accelerator, determining the impact by fit of the accelerator with the local ecosystem.

Items of interest:

  • Innovation maturity
  • Innovation ambition
  • Topics and challenges
  • Willingness to support

Final result: report with implementation roadmap

Digital Workshops

We offer a variety of digital workshops for port ecosystems across the globe. These include:

  • Innovation Awareness: Learn about how corporates make impact with start-ups, see new innovations through start-up pitches, inspire all layers of the organisation and work on idea generation and use-cases
  • Innovation Challenges: The focus is on defining and formulating concrete innovation challenges for your company. It enables you to pitch and present your challenge the way start-ups normally pitch a solution.
  • International Challenges: Showcase the challenges affecting your ecosystem to an international audience and discover which matched solutions the start-ups scouted by PortXL have to offer.

SPEED Project

SPEED is a European Interreg project aiming to build an ecosystem for smart port app development in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the UK, bridging the gap between the worlds of European ports and the nascent data science – IoT market.

We are a proud partner of SPEED and have been participating in workshops and events organised so far. More to come!

AspBAN

AspBAN will support Atlantic Ports to act as ecosystems to foster innovation in the blue economy. PortXL is proud to be a founding partner of the consortium.

AspBAN aims to have a final pool of innovative startup solutions developed as pilots in Atlantic ports, attracting 6M€ in direct private investment, mobilizing 4,5billion€ of potential private investment and making a reduction of at least 100.000 tons of CO2 emissions in the operations of the ports.
