GT Wings (PortXL ’23) announced the close of a significant investment round led by Grieg Kapital in Dec ’25. In Feb ’26, they also secured Lloyd’s Register verification of sea trials performance assessment methodology for its AirWing™ Jet Sail (pictured). The verification follows 10 months’ ongoing deployment of GT Wings’ AirWing™ technology onboard Carisbrooke Shipping Ltd’s vessel MV Vectis Progress. For further reading, see Source1 & Source2.
AMPHITRITE (PortXL ’25) & Hefring Marine (PortXL ’20) were both selected to be part of NATO DIANA’s newest cohort, and are currently deep in the program! See Source3.
Sensar (PortXL ’19) extended in Dec ’25 its contract with Port of Rotterdam to continue taking the management of assets such as quay walls to a higher level with the help of satellite data and smart analyses. See Source4.
HelioRec | BCorp (PortXL ’21) was awarded the International Innovation Trophy 2025 in December, highlighting their W300A floating solar system, designed specifically for coastal and nearshore environments. See Source5.
Sagar Defence Engineering (PortXL ’17) announced in Dec ’25 they’ve been allotted 29.58 acres of land to build the world first autonomous maritime shipyard. See Source6.
QuinteQ Energy (PortXL ’22) signed in Jan ’26 a contract with Lockheed Martin & the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy for the development of a decentralized microgrid in the port of Odesa, Ukraine. See Source7.
Newlight (PortXL ’25) was presented in Jan ’26 the Hydrogen Innovation Award by RINA during Marintec China, recognising their contribution to advancing cleaner and more efficient maritime propulsion. See Source8.
Noble Gas Systems (PortXL ’22) has become, as of Feb ’26, the first producer of non-carbon fiber conformable pressure vessels to pass ISO 11119-3 requirements and secure a U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) authorization for over-the-road transport. See Source9.
SeaO2 (PortXL ’24) was awarded in Feb ’26 the Rabobank innovation loan to help them further scale their Direct Ocean Capture technology, accelerating the path to real climate impact. See Source10.
